Mr. Boyd Beckham, 83, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Pascagoula, MS. Boyd was born on June 11, 1941, to the late Herman and Juanita Beckham in Tinsley, MS. Although he was a resident of Grand Bay, AL, for many years, Pascagoula was always his hometown.

He is preceded in death by his son, Steve Beckham, and his wife, Fayla Simmons Beckham. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Brushaber Beckham; daughter, Suzanne Beckham; and grandsons, Jack and Sam Beckham. He is also survived by siblings Janet Hutchinson, Danny (Janice) Beckham, and Judy (Larry) Whitehead; aunt Thellis Johnson; and uncles Fred (Jeanette) Beckham and Glenn Beckham. Brenda's children are Dianne (David) Jones, Chuck (Sonya) Brushaber, and Donny (Judy) Brushaber, along with her grand and great-grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was a member of Arlington Baptist Church and a previous longtime member of First Baptist Grand Bay. He was active with Pascagoula High School's class of 1960, Magnolia Classic Cruisers, and Chevron retirees groups for many years. He will be remembered for his lifelong involvement with drag racing, particularly racing their '68 Camaro with Steve.

Join us in celebrating Boyd's life during a visitation on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Arlington Baptist Church, located at 2101 Market Street, Pascagoula, MS, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Michael Wilkinson officiating.

Family and friends are also welcome to attend the graveside committal ceremony immediately following the service, located at Serene Memorial Gardens, 12800 Highway 613 S, Moss Point, MS 39562.
