Mr. Joseph D. "J.D".McQueen 79, of Escatawpa, MS passed away July 1,2017 in Pascagoula, MS. Mr. McQueen was born in Escatawpa on May 5,1938.
He was a member of the Community of Christ Church of Escatawpa, he enjoyed fishing the outdoors and traveling. He was retired from the construction field.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bessie McQueen, his son-in-law Kenny Manning, his sisters Clara Cannette, Janie Ferguson, Delores "Little Sister" Brewer and his brother-in law Jr. Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife Frances Miller McQueen, his children Joey (Tami) McQueen, Diann McQueen Caldwell, and Brenda McQueen Manning, his brother Charles (Gloria) McQueen all of Escatawpa.. He will also be sadly missed by his six grandchildren , six great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday July 6,2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Community of Church of Escatawpa with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Vivian Parker and Elder Terry Breland will be officiating the service.
Burial will follow in the Community of Christ Church cemetery in Escatawpa.
Pallbearers will be Joel McQueen, Justin McQueen, Chad Caldwell, Kameron Manning, Brandon Cooper, and Ronnie McQueen
