Wendy Jane Weakley 49, of Picayune Mississippi, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, April 17th,2024 at her home in Picayune. She was born April 19th, 1974, in Biloxi Mississippi to Steven Wayne Weakley and Martha Mitchell Thompson.
Wendy was a kind and loving person, always ready to help anyone she could. She loved and enjoyed her large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was an avid pet lover. At one point in her life, she owned six dogs and four cats and loved each one of them. She enjoyed fishing and crabbing and just being outdoors. She had a boisterous laugh that was both infectious and, at times, annoying. She loved to joke and pull silly pranks, always in the spirit of fun.
Wendy was preceded in death by her beloved father, Stephen Wayne Weakley, her grandparents Michael B. Sr. and Anna Mitchell, Chester Weakley, and Dorothy Weakley two uncles Mike Mitchell., and Robert "Bob" Mitchell.
Survivors include her beloved partner of over 20 years Dennis Knowles, Sr., her mother and best friend Martha Mitchell Thompson, brother Craig Thompson, and her sister Rachael Thompson (Jason) Harris. Her dear friend and neighbor, Kim Randazzo, and many, many, relatives, and friends.
The visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, Mississippi. Wendy's life will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
