Obituary for Carole Ann Dawson
Carole Ann Dawson, 76, of Moss Point, MS, passed away peacefully in her home on November 30, 2024, surrounded by her beloved family. Born to the late Enoch and Goldie Estes, Carole was a cherished member of her community and an inspirational figure to all who knew her.
Preceding her in death are her devoted husband, Mr. Steve Dawson, and her beloved son, Clifford Remley. Their loss deeply impacted her, but her strength and resilience carried her through.
Carole is survived by her three children, Christopher Remley, Curtis Remley and his wife Deborah, and Wayne Dawson and his wife Shannon. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Laura Remley, Joshua (Beth) Remley, CJ Remley, David (Laura) Remley, Curtis Remley Jr., Eric Remley, Grace Dawson, and Aaron Remley; a host of great-grandchildren, and her brother David Estes. Carole also leaves behind an extensive network of close relatives and friends who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.
Throughout her life, Carole was passionate about expressing herself through art. She loved painting and dedicated countless hours to creating stunning and unique masterpieces that brought joy to many. In addition to her artistic pursuits, she enjoyed crafting, cooking, and dancing, which reflected her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Carole was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Moss Point and worked for over 30 years at Singing River Hospital as a Phlebotomist, where all her patients and coworkers loved her dearly.
A visitation to honor Carole's life will be held on December 6, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM0, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, located at 4114 First St., Moss Point, MS. Following the visitation, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her memory beginning at 10:00 AM. The committal service will take place at Jackson County Memorial Park immediately after the Mass, providing a serene setting to say farewell.
