Age 32 years old, of D?Iberville, MS, entered eternal life Monday, April 20, 2009, following a tragic automobile accident on Interstate-10 in Ocean Springs.
Jamie was born on July 21, 1976, in Biloxi; worked in home construction; and was a lifetime resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles S. Duke; and his paternal grandparents, Elliott Mallett Sr., and Shirley Tillman Mallett.
Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Daphne L. Mallett, of D?Iberville; Five children Travis, Heather, Calee, Romeo, and Olivia. Devoted mother, Kathy Stroble and her husband Keith, of Ocean Springs. Father, Elliott ?Lucky? Mallett Jr. and his wife Shirley, of Vancleave. Maternal grandmother, Jessie Duke, of Ocean Springs. Five sisters, Jennie Mallett, of Vancleave; Roselean Mallet, Vancleave; Krystle Mallett, D?Iberville; Lisa Britt, Ocean Springs; Tina (Tim) Foy, D?Iberville; and Angie (David) Gennarelli, of Vancleave. Four brothers, Joseph (Tonya) Hano, of Saucier; Lucky (Jennifer) Mallett, D?Iberville; Christopher Mallett, D?Iberville; and Michael (Alice) Entrekin, of Washington, DC. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Jamie?s Life will take place Monday, April 27, 2009, at 7:00 pm, in the Chapel of Coastal Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
