Today I am thinking of you, I so remember our last conversation. You told me the Dr. would tell me the aneurysm was gone. Those exact words came out of his mouth on the 12th. Of this month, and I saw your smile.I love and miss you Josie

The occasion was to honor Charlie Bond's son Brent for graduating from Ole Miss with highest honors, but it end up being a song fest with Charlie being the star singer. Guitars and banjos appeared; Faye and Charlie provided the vocals, thank goodness, since no one else had a voice worth hearing! What a delightful human being! It was a pleasure meeting him and Faye, kind and loving parents of an extraordinary young man. Charlie Bond was a true gentleman. Bobby and I send our love to all the family. I know this hurts, but I hope it helps to know your friends are thinking of you. Fondly, Jocelyn Wurzburg, Memphis, Tennessee

Mr. Charlie was one of the nicest most sincere people I've ever met. I never saw him without a smile on a face and a great big hug. I know he will certainly be missed here, but I'm sure Jesus is glad to have him Home! Love and condolences to the entire family - Kristi Canfield

You will never be forgotten Captain Charlie. It was a true pleasure having the honor to work with Charlie as the Captain of the Grady G. I am saddened to hear of his death, but I find peace in knowing he left this earth peacefully. Charlie had a great spirit and deserved so much more than he would ever ask for. Only GOD knows why he calls his children home, but I'm sure he has great plans for Charlie up there.
Surely Charlie will be a guardian angel watching over other captains on their journeys. He will be great at it too !!!

To My Cousin Jack: The angels called you to go up high! We know you were sad not to say "Good-bye". Your love and smiles will get us through until one day we will all be with you. No tears! No fears! Just a void in our heart, but sweet memories will keep us while we all are apart. "Forever in our heart" Irene and Family

Seventy years of memories and so proud of the man you grew up to be. Overcoming so many obstacles in your journey through life. You leave behind your family and friends that love you and will miss you so much. The teasing, your smiling face, all the acts of kindness and caring for everyone you knew. Knowing you will be greeted in heaven by all of our family waiting for you with love and open arms is a comforting thought. My little brother, I love you. Dell
