Ann Jeanette Smith, 85, of Escatawpa, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Escatawpa. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on July 16, 1939, to Robert Coulter and Margaret (Stephen) Coulter.
Ann was a kind and gentle person. She loved to hug and hold hands with her family and friends. She never complained and was a joy to be around. Ann was a member of the Crossroads Methodist Church. She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Wayne Smith, brothers, Robert Coulter and wife, Julia, Stewart Coulter, Grandson, Brett Smith, sister-in-law, Barbara Smith, and lifelong neighbors, Robert and Delma Harper.
The survivors are her two sons, Bryan (Tina) Smith, David Paul (Nicole Welcome) Smith, grandchildren, Connor Smith Megan Coppage, and Patience Coppage and three great-grandchildren. One brother, Ian (Leslie) Coulter, sister-in-law, Alexis Coulter, Brothers-in-law, Perry Smith, Mike (Louise) Smith, sisters-in-law, Jeannie (Mike) Chism, Janie (Eddie) Clayton, and numerous nieces and nephews, and lifelong neighbors, Leroy and Jean Harvey.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Main Street Funeral Home 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS. 39563. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Perry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Serene Memorial Gardens Cemetery 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS. 39562
