Anna Mae Evans Perez, 92, passed from this life on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at her home in Pascagoula. She was born October 16, 1926 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mrs. Perez was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Bobby Louis Perez, a son, Robert Louis Perez and a daughter, Diane Perez Waters. Mrs. Perez worked as a switchboard operator for the U.S. Navy, Civil Service. Mrs. Perez is survived by her two daughters, Mary Boone and husband, Mike and Patricia Perez Wilde and husband, Craig; Son-in-law, Fred Waters; grandchildren, Cody & Kacee Waters, Allen & Robyn Forsman, Amy and Brian Jones, Allison & Toben DuBose, Jody & Dean Williams, Jennifer Scott, Rebecca Boone, Henry & Shannon Waters and Joshua & Lori Boone. Great-grandchildren, Devin Williams, Ashton Williams, Maddie Williams, Jordan DuBose, Joseph Forsman, Molly Forsman, Henry Waters, Jr., Joel Waters, Natalie Waters, Sarra Waters, Cody Waters, Jr., Marcus Pearson, Sydney Pearson, Connor Scott, Mason Scott, Owen Scott, Kellan Boone, Ellyse Boone and a very special friend, Janice Forsman. Anna was an amazing lady who loved her family dearly. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed time with her family more than anything. She was a very artistic person who loved to read, work crossword puzzles and play with her poodle, Dusty and she especially loved watching New Orleans Saints football on Sunday afternoon. She taught Sunday School for many years and was very involved with her church. Her grandchildren say what they remember the most about their Meemaw is her beautiful smile, kind heart and generosity. She will be sorely missed by many family and friends who loved her deeply. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10:00am from St. John's Episcopal Church, 3507 Pine Street, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Waters, Henry Waters, Allen Forsman, Toben DuBose, Dean Williams and Devin Williams. Ushers will be Joseph Forsman, Cody Waters, Jr., and Henry Waters, Jr. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point.
