Annie Beatrice Latting Furby
On Saturday, April 17th, Annie Beatrice Latting Furby, loving wife, mother of four children, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Annie was born May 5th, 1938 in Meridian, MS to James Maxie Latting Sr and Edith (Monroe). She graduated from Pascagoula High School, and married the love of her life after graduating. Together, Eddie and Annie lived in several states, spreading and teaching the word of the Lord. Annie was a loving wife and mother, and dedicated preacher's wife, who always welcomed her church members as members of her family. Mr and Mrs Furby settled in Pearl River, LA where they finished raising their three children. Annie remained a devoted Christian and preacher's wife while also being a cherished dental assistant in Slidell, LA. Annie was full of life and wanted others to laugh, she always had a new joke to tell or a new prank up her sleeve. Annie will be remembered by her bright sparkling blue eyes, contagious smile and warm hugs and kisses.
Annie is preceded in death by her parents James and Edith (Monroe) Latting, her adoring husband Eddie L. Furby, her precious son Lloyd Furby, brothers James "Jimmy" and David Latting Sr., and her grandson Samuel Lucas. Annie is survived by her children Deborah (Crowe), Linda(Franklin), and James(Furby), grandchildren Jonathan (Fraley), Michael (Craddock), Hannah (Bell), Eddie (Furby) and Anna (Mabie), and great-grandchildren Jorden (Serpas), Tera (Mabie), Lucas (Fraley), Elias (Bell), Lape (Craddock), Alara (Craddock), and Vincent (Fraley). Annie's ashes will be buried next to her husband and son in a private burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Moss Point, MS on May 11th 2021.
