Mr. Artice Rachal Jr. 91, of Moss Point, MS passed away on April 30,2019 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mr. Rachal was born on December 17,1927 in Flora, LA. He served with pride and dedication during WW II with the United States Army/ Air Corp and with the Merchant and Marine. He retired from Continental Can after 25 years of service. He then worked for Clegg Construction and A1 Auto Parts. He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, going on cruises with his wife and friends. Every Christmas he and his wife would make their annual trip to Natchitoches, LA to look at the Christmas lights and decorations. He loved telling jokes and was a prankster. He was a fan of the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
He is preceded in death by his parents Artice Rachal Sr. and Victoria Bynog Rachal, his brother and sister David and Teresa Rachal.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Faye Rachal, his children Michael Rachal and his wife Patti, Barry (Cammie) Rachal, and Mark (Paddy) Rachal, Tammy Rachal and her husband Rev. Clint Miller, Douglas, Kenneth/ Melody, Debbie and Stephanie. His sister Doris (Charles) Dowdy and his friends Ken and Sheila Turner. Numerous Nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home at 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clint Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Serene Gardens cemetery with military honors. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons Michael Rachal, Barry Rachal, Mark Rachal, Chris Rachal, Joshua Rachal and Clint Mileer.
