On Sunday, August 30th, our precious mother, mawmaw, great grandma, sister, and friend departed this Earth to join and dance with the angels at the age of 79. She was born April 20th, 1941 in Shuqualak, Ms. Her father moved their family to Pascagoula to work at the Shipyard while she was a child. She is greeted in Heaven by her mother and father, William and Helen Triplett, brother Ray Triplett and grandson, Jacob Graham. Betty is loved and remembered by her 3 children, Delores Davis, Deborah Graham, and David Graham; Grandchildren Danielle (Wayne), Jamie, Whitney, Lanae, Rusty (Helen), Tracy, Shelby, Joshua, Summer, and Justin; Great grandchildren, Layne, Lauryn, Breauna, Lanna Grace, Sydney and Madison.
Betty worked at Goff's Drive-in for over 20 years and Managed convenient stores for another 20 years. She loved her kids and all her grand babies unconditionally. She was devoted to her family and she always reminded them how much she loved them. She loved to reminisce on memories especially ones with her family. Her thoughtfulness made sure a birthday was never forgotten nor a. detail missed that she didn't know about. Her selflessness and tenderness made us all better humans. She was fun and funny yet so brave and strong.
She is an angel in our hearts and in heaven, and although we weren't quite ready, she is laughing with her daddy and singing praise with the angels. We hope that can bring peace and love for our family during this time.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 12th, from 5-7pm at Holder Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. The family requests that memorials be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
