Mrs. Bobbie Jeanette Brewington Ladnier 36, of Big Point, MS passed away on May 19, 2018 in Mobile, AL. Bobbie was born on November 20, 1981 in North Carolina.
She married her loving husband Lewis Ladnier on November 11, 2011 in Las Vegas. They spent 13 loving years together
She worked at the Austal Marine in Mobile as a marine electrician. She was very proud of her Native American heritage (Coharie). Her Native American name was "Wesula Yavok" which translates to "Sunflower" and is interpreted as "One whom brings happiness and positive vibes to all". She graduated from Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina where she enjoyed playing soccer, and she also pitched for her little league baseball team in Fayetteville. When she moved to Mississippi Bobbie enjoyed spending time on the Dog River camping and fishing. She also spent her time kayaking, hiking, and motorcycle riding with her husband and friends. She was also a big Steelers fan.
She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Brewington.
In addition to Lewis she is also survived by their children Bradley (Stacy) Ladnier of Alaska, Ashliegh Ladnier and Jeremy Ladnier both of Big Point, MS; her father Bobby Ray Brewington of Fayetteville N.C; her sister Tonia (Shawn) Arnold of Fayetteville, her cousin Tracie (Jason) Locklear Beasley, of Raleigh, North Carolina and her two nephews J.T. Brewington and Seven Arnold both of North Carolina.
She will also be missed by her grandchildren Shayden, Haylen, and River all from Alaska, Aubrieana, Amira both from Big Point, her babies Dixie, Deek, and Blue, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be Saturday May 26, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS. A celebration of life service honoring Bobbie will begin at 12:00pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Les Pierce officiating.
