Mrs. Candis Allebach, 72, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home in Moss Point. She was born to Allen Waddingham and Beverly Markley Winninger on October 5, 1950, in Titusville, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Roland Thomas III, One brother, George Winninger, and three sisters, Robin Minick, Terri Fravor, and Jolee Orduno.
Candis was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her husband after retiring in 2013 from the Pascagoula Library where she worked as a librarian. She loved books and was an avid reader. She enjoyed a good thunderstorm, windchimes, and especially being with her family and friends.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 40 years, Lester Allebach, 2 daughters, Crystal (Michael) Varner, Kendra (Christopher) Lisowski, and stepdaughter, Lorie Twitchell. Grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Holloway, Helly Varner, Devon (Emily) Scott, Bailey Scott, Daria Scott, Jacob Thomas, and Damion Necaise. Great-grandchildren, Kinslie, Karter, Presley, Orion, Oliver, Niykee, Beverly, and Luca. Sister, Esther Winninger, brother, Robert (Myren) Winninger, and brother-in-law, Nacho Orduno.
