Charles Henry Foster Jr. 59 of Hurley, MS passed away February 9, 2017 in Lake Charles, LA.

Chuck was born in Pascagoula on June 1, 1957 to Charles and Lucille Foster.
Chuck graduated Pascagoula High School in 1975, where he played football and other sports.
After graduating high school, with Honor's he went to further his education at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. At O.R.U he was a resident advisor over other students at the college, he was a member of the O.R.U singers an outreach ministry of the university.
At the college he enjoyed playing intramural flag football with his college friends and won MVP honors. In 1979, he earned his B.S. Degree in Telecommunications and Journalism.

After graduating college he became a youth pastor at Bethel Assembly of God, there he met the love of his life Cindy Jackson and married in 1980.
In 1981 he was hired by the Chevron Corporation as an operator, EMT and Fireman, after 26 years of dedicated service he retired.
After his retirement from Chevron he became a consultant and with this occupation, he had the opportunity to travel to the Middle East, Australia, Wyoming and many other places with his last service being in Lake Charles.
For relaxation Charles was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed watching movies and listening to 70's music.
He was also very active in his children's baseball and softball programs, he often coached the teams that they played on.
His family would like everybody to know that his main enjoyment out of life was spending time with his family and grandbabies.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles Henry "Charlie" Foster, his grandparents Joseph Clark, Esther Carraway, and James (Emily) Foster.
He is survived by his loving wife and his best friend Cindy Jackson Foster of Hurley, his children Lindsay Renee Foster (James) Hurr of Pascagoula, Charles Joseph (Lauren) Foster of Pascagoula. His mother Lucille Jones Foster, his brother James Stephen (Dana) Foster of Maryland and his sister Krystal Foster (Christopher) Smith of Lucedale.
He also leaves behind to cherish his memories for years to come are his grandchildren Connor Sistrunk, Ashlyn Zitzelberger, Caden Foster, Charleiegh Hurr, Luke Foster. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Also cherished and devoted friend's, Bryan and Dana Turner and family.

Visitation will be Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS.
The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jerry Goff will be officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
