Charles George Craig, Jr., 54 of Vancleave, Mississippi passed away on Friday, April, 21st 2023 in his Vancleave home.
He was born on August 1st, 1968 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Shirley and Charles Craig, Sr.
Charles worked as a welder all his life, having just celebrated his 10th-year anniversary with Ingalls Shipbuilding. He loved fishing on his days off with friends and family. His family knew him as Chuck, and above all else, he was a loving grandfather. He would always be on the floor playing with his grandchildren and relished any opportunity to visit.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Cynthia Gail Ladnier and Rebecca Diane Ladnier Hutto.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Suzanne (Cox) Craig, and their two children. Caleb (Aubrey) Craig and his 3 children (Liam, Rowan, Rosalee), Jacob Craig (fiancé Lilly), and his child (Lana).
Charles wished to be cremated, with his ashes spread either in his favorite fishing spot or under the family oak tree.
There will be a private celebration of life for Charles Jr. at a family home.
