Mr. Charles E. "Buddy" Furby Sr. 76, of Helena, Mississippi passed away on February 2,2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Furby was born in Jackson County, Mississippi on March 4,1945.
His family was his life. He was a 32nd degree and Master Mason with the Moss Point Masonic Lodge #202. He loved the outdoors who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed watching tv especially the news and the weather channel. He spent time working in his garden growing vegetables.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Austin Furby and his parents Joe and Gladys Furby.
He is survived by his wife Della Furby, his children Linda (Tracy) Kennedy, Tammy (Herman) Gentry, Charles E. (Samatha) Furby Jr., Thomas Furby and Tonya Furby. His siblings Louise Lee, Paula Stampley, Robert (Linda) Furby, Michael (Bonnie) Furby, and Bobby Joe (Linda K.) Furby. He will also be sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one very special grandson Colton Boyd. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Saturday February 5,2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Sunday February 6,2022 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rodney Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery in Helena.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Hilbun, Steven Gentry, Trey Furby, Colton Boyd, Stacy Kennedy, Kristoffer Gray . Honorary Pallbearers will be Travis Hubbard, Hayden Randle and Preston Kennedy
