Charles Blundell "Goat" Reynolds 79 of Hurley, MS passed away in Pascagoula, MS on April 6,2019. Mr. Reynolds was born on October 22,1939 in Rolling Fork, MS. He graduated from Yazoo City High School while he was in high school he became a standout athlete in football, baseball and track. After he graduated from high school he went on to further his education at Holmes Jr College where he continued to playing football and after graduating from Holmes he enrolled at Mississippi College. He lettered in football and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and History.
After leaving college "Goat" started coaching and teaching at Brookhaven High, Pascagoula High School, and Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights Michigan. His greatest love besides his son Chuck was coaching football and track.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Reynolds and Mildred Lippincott and his sister Kala Katherine Farris.
He is survived by his son Charles "Chuck" Reynolds II of Detroit, MI; his sister Janice Moore of Pascagoula, his nieces Kala Jean Farris of Pascagoula, his nephews Bobby Beasley of Pascagoula, Alex Moore of Las Vegas and Adam Moore of Pascagoula. Other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life in Goat's honor will be Tuesday April 9,2019 beginning at 1:00 at the Gautier/ Vancleave American Legion Post #1992 at 3824 Old Spanish Trail Gautier, MS.
