Mr. Danny Ray Taylor Sr. 72, of Pascagoula, MS passed away on October 8,2022 in Pascagoula.
Danny lived in Jackson County for most of his life. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding where he worked in the Production Control Department. He graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Jr College "Perk" then enrolled and graduated from the University of Alabama. He also played football with the "Tide" from 1971 to 1972 as a wide receiver under Coach Bear Bryant. Danny enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Francis Taylor.
He is survived by his sons Danny Ray (Kathleen) Taylor Jr., and Patrick (Lensi) Taylor, his brothers Don (Sandy) Taylor and Dale (Sandy) Taylor, grandchildren Lee, Lucca, Lane, and Kinsley and he leaves behind nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday October 13,2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563.
