David Richard Sanders (72), of Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away on December 20th, 2023.
David, fondly known as Ricky, was born to David & Jewel Sanders on November 12, 1951, in Louisville, Mississippi.
Ricky loved to fish and was a proud fan of Ole Miss Rebel football.
His career was spent first as a carpenter and then as a sheet metal mechanic within the shipbuilding industry.
Ricky married Judy Walton, his wife of 49 years, in 1974. He was a father to three sons, grandfather to seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife Judy Sanders along with his three sons, David (Tammy), Joseph (Amanda), and Michael.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Stephanie Thrasher, Zachary Sanders, Melanie Sanders, Arin Sanders, Ethan Farish, Addison Sporna and Spencer Fairley
and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Thrasher.
He is also survived by his brother Randy Sanders (Deanna).
Ricky is predeceased by his parents, David & Jewel Sanders.
Ricky will be memorialized in Attala County, Mississippi at Doty Springs Baptist Church on a date that will be forthcoming.
