Mr. David Neil Roberts - age 56 of Moss Point, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 after battling cancer for over 10 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and craftsman and had a passion for all things outdoors. Mr. Roberts was a member of Midway Baptist Church, and the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union local 436. He is preceded in death by his father, Mr. John Wallace Roberts, Sr. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Claudine Roberts Stewart and Carl; a son, Jeremy (Karen) Patrick; a daughter, Amber Howell; five grandchildren, Jason, Ian, and Landon Patrick, Houston Roberts, and Valerie Howell. He is also survived by two brothers, John Wallace (Shirley) Roberts, Jr., and Steve Douglas Roberts, and numerous other relatives and friends. A private interment is scheduled Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Serene Memorial Gardens, Moss Point, MS.. A memorial service will be held Monday, September 26, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church, 5900 Shortcut Rd, Moss Point, MS with the Rev. Ray McCorkle officiating.
