Deanna Waltman Comeaux, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 64 on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi. Born on November 21, 1960, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, Deanna was a cherished daughter of Dallas and Doris Mae Waltman. Deanna was a remarkable woman known for her unwavering support of her children and grandchildren, attending countless sports events with enthusiasm and love. An avid New Orleans Saints fan, she found joy in cheering for her team. Her artistic nature shone through her love of painting, and she took pride in nurturing her plants. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her family, friends, and Jazz Club family, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Dallas Eugene and Doris Mae Smith Waltman. Her spirit lives on through her ex-spouse and lifelong companion, Russell "Rusty" Comeaux, her four daughters-Renee Nichole "Nikki" (Aaron) Pettis, Dusti Deanne (Anthony) VanCourt, Victoria Brooke (Lance) Waltman, and Amber Doris Virginia (Nathan) Tucker-and her adored grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Leighton, Anna Kate, Jacelyn, Alyssa, Bailliee, Brayson, Jarrett, Claire, Collins, Sadie, and Natalie. She also leaves behind her precious great-granddaughter, Averi.
Deanna is survived by her devoted siblings, Darlene Conerly and Debbie (Tim) Terrell, and many cherished nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
The pride and joy of Deanna's life were her daughters, whom she raised with love and dedication. She will be forever remembered not only for her beautiful blue eyes but also for her warmth and compassion that touched everyone who knew her.
A visitation to celebrate Deanna's life will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Holder Wells Main Street Chapel, 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM at Holder Wells Funeral Home, with a graveside service at Machpelah Cemetery at 4:00 PM.
