Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving parents, Mr. John Edward Kelley and his devoted wife, Danielle Nicole, and Mrs. Amanda LeAnn Wellbaum, along with her cherished husband, John Andrew.

Her vibrant spirit will continue to shine through her wonderful siblings: Declan Nikolai Kelley, Kaidon Randall Register, Jillian Skye Wellbaum, and Oakleigh Claire Kelley. She was blessed to have the support and love of her adoring grandparents: John Howell and Debbie Kelley Jr., Tony and Becki Edwards, Lynette Reed, and Steve and Debbie Wellbaum, each of whom shaped her life with their kindness and wisdom.

Her family tree is enriched by the nurturing presence of her aunts, Beka Kelley, Charity Edwards, and Yvette Reed, and her uncles, Matthew Wellbaum and Eric Wellbaum, who have rallied around her with unwavering love and support. Surrounded by a close network of family and friends, she leaves behind countless memories that will forever be treasured. Her life, though brief, was filled with laughter, love, and the promise of brighter days. She will be deeply missed but will forever remain in our hearts as a guiding light and a source of inspiration.

Delaiah was a Foley High School marching band member, where she played the flute alongside her close-knit circle of friends. She was a passionate music lover, enjoying her favorite bands, Blink-182 and Green Day. She loved listening to music on her vinyl records, letting the music take over her mind and soul. In her free time, she also enjoyed playing The Sims and 60 Parsecs on her Xbox, as well as watching and drawing anime. Delaiah was an intelligent young woman, excelling in her studies as a straight-A student in Advanced Placement classes.
