Mrs. Flora "Dinky" E. Jordan, 70, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in Moss Point.
She was born on January 28, 1953, in Charleston, Mississippi, to Jessie Ray White, Sr., and Betty Bell Bloodworth White.
Dinky was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to cook and bake. Her specialty was homemade pies and bread. She had quite a green thumb and grew beautiful flower gardens. She also liked to fish and go shopping for bargains at Goodwill stores.
In addition to her parents, Dinky was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie White, and brothers, George White, and Jessie Ray White, Jr., and her best dog friend, Milo Jordan.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Jimbo Jordan, one son, and daughter-in-law, Skipper and Melissa Stork. Five grandchildren, Terry Stork, Eric (Elizabeth) Piechocki, Maddox Stork, Taylor Stork, and Ava Stork. One great-grandchild, Sadie Piechocki. Sisters, Marie Gulembo, and Brenda Sullivan and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS. 39563 The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wendell Stork and Rev. Lonnie Jordan officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Moss Point, MS. Serving as pallbearers; Darryl White, Lee Fore, Donnie Price, Little Richard Barrow, Kevin McGill, and Vent Necaise.
