Mrs. Doris Benge 79, of the Franklin Creek community of Jackson County passed away on March 4,2019 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Benge was born in Springhill, LA on June 15,1940. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Benge is preceded in death her husband William Benge Sr.,her parents Chester and Grace Long, her daughters-in-law Helen Benge and Sharon Benge, her sisters Mary Oddys Jones, Vee Ellen Adams and Mononna Burns.
She is survived by her son Billy Benge of Big Point, and Gilbert (Becky) Benge of Franklin Creek. She will also sadly be missed by her grandsons Travis, Bradley, Cody, Chris, Brandon, her great grandchildren Alexandra, William Henry aka "Peanut", Bella, Adam, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Sunday March 10,2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will be Monday March 11,2019 at 10:00am from chapel of Holder-Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, MS.
Pallbearers will be Cody Benge, Brandon Benge, Bradley Benge, Chris Sullivan,Robert Burns and Terry Keith Johnson.
