Doris Roberts Hawkins 82 of Moss Point, Mississippi passed away on November 23, 2021, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Mrs. Hawkins was born on August 8, 1939, in Clem, Mississippi.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her Lord and read her Bible daily. She was an active and dedicated member of the Bethel Assembly of God. She worked at Bethel Assembly of God in the daycare cafeteria feeding and entertaining the children.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Hilliard Hawkins II, her son William Hilliard Hawkins III, her parents Bernice Sr. and Anna Lois Roberts, her sisters Catherine Griffith, and Clara Belle Reynolds.

She is survived by her children Richard (Danette) Hawkins, Deborah (Steve) Capdepon, and Vickey (Thomas) Cox. Her siblings Dorothy (Drew) Hawkins, Peggy (Joe) Cosper, Brenda (Tim) Kernstock, and Bernice (Johnnie) Roberts Jr. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Nicholas Capdepon, Chase Hawkins, Conor Hawkins, Victoria Cook, and Jonathon Cox, her great-grandchild Harper Ryan Cook, and one great-grandchild on the way. Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm from the funeral home chapel.

A private graveside service will be on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
