Dorothy E. Davis, age 68, passed away on 03/01/2023, in her home. She was born January 7, 1955 to the late James and Virginia Best. She touched many hearts working as a Certified Nursing Assistant across Coastal Mississippi a majority of her life, which allowed her to raise 3 children. Elaine was a genuine soul, full of life and love and will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her son Larry Don Davis, sister Donna Jo Andrews, brother Charles Eldon Best, and her husband Mark Dunn.

She is survived by 2 brothers, David (Donna) Best of Texas and Richard (Marilyn) Best of England;
2 Sisters, Carol (Forrest) Cox of Warner, Ga and Karen (Randy) Minks of Tucson, Az: 1 son James Davis Jr (Leigh Ann) of Lucedale, MS; 2 daughters, Carolyn (Alan) Hicks of North Alabama and Crystal (Billy) Roark of Cadiz, Ky; 7 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hicks, Connor Hicks, Jocelyn Roark Trevor Dooley, Sarah Roark, Samantha Roark and Case Davis; 1 great grandson Nikolai Roark.
