Mrs. Dorothy Annette Tanner Douglas, 59, 0f Pascagoula, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her home in Pascagoula.
She was born on November 25, 1963, in Pascagoula, to Harvey and Tressie Davis Tanner.
Dorothy was a registered nurse. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, and friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed gardening, and spending time with her family. Dorothy was a member of Tanner Chapel Church and employed by Vice Construction Company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Tressie Tanner, and one brother, Phillip Tanner.
Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband, William J. "Bill" Douglas, Sr., one son William J. (Kristina) Douglas, Jr., one daughter, Brittany Nicole (Jeff Cramer) Douglas, and four grandchildren, Emma Douglas, Noah Douglas, Chloe Douglas, and Amelia Douglas. 2 sisters, Delana (Dennis) Turner, and Debbie (Lloyd) Oliver. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Dorothy will be held Monday, April 17, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS 39563. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m. from the Holder-Wells funeral home chapel with Rev. Robert Kelly officiating. Serving as pallbearers, William Douglas, Jr., Dennis Turner, Ryan Turner, Lee Ardoin, Jeff Cramer, and Clayton Jarrell. Honorary pallbearers, Tanner Ardoin, Mason Cramer, and Jeffrey Cramer The burial will be at Serene Memorial Gardens Cemetery 12800 Hwy 613, Moss Point, MS 39562.
