Mrs. Dorothy Furby Lee, 80, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023, in Pascagoula. She was born in Jackson County, Mississippi November 22, 1942, to Joseph Furby and Gladys Hyatt Furby.
Mrs. Lee was a loving mother and grandmother. She had been employed as a security guard for Signal Shipyard for several years before her retirement. Mrs. Lee loved to watch TV, especially soap operas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Miller, and her second husband, Claude Lee, her granddaughter, Amanda Jane Webb, and one brother, Buddy Furby.
Survivors include her children, Dwayne Miller, Carolyn Miller, Elizabeth Barrow, and Wesley Miller.
4 grandchildren, Nicole Barrow, Virginia (Charles) Learid, Andrew Webb, and Ashley Cabell. Great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Barrow, Siera Learid, Sophia Learid, Tori Cabell, and Little Andy Webb.
Her siblings, Robert (Linda) Furby, Bobby Joe (Linda) Furby, Paula Stampley, Mickey (Bonnie) Furby, and sister-in-law, Della Furby.
