Dorothy Mae Mayo, age 84 passed away on June 23, 2021, at her residence in Houston, Texas.
Ms. Mayo is preceded in death by her parent's, Enoch W. Parker, Mary "Hannah" Parker, Paul W. Storey (1st husband), Jimmy W. Storey (Son), Clayton E. Mayo (2nd Husband).
Ms. Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Paula J. Viator of Vancleave, Ms, and Judy D. Cantu of Houston, Tx; grandson, Michael Parker of Vancleave, Ms; granddaughters, Jamie Truett of Wade, Ms and Amanda Walter of Metairie, La. Great-Grandchildren, Christian Scarbrough, Vancleave, Ms, Alexandria Scarbrough, Vancleave, Ms, Chloe Scarbrough, Moss Point, Ms, Gage Walter, Metairie, La, Steven Truett, Wade, Ms, Madeliene Parker, Owen Parker and Meredith Parker; Great-Great Grandkids, Kayden Scarbrough and Ansley Scarbrough.
She loved the organ, crocheting, baking, loved going to Antique Angels, sitting with people, loved her church and her family, Loved her little dog "Sweetie".
Ms. Mayo was a member of Wade Baptist Church and retired from The Mississippi Press.
A visitation for Ms. Mayo will be held on Tuesday June 29, 2021, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home Chapel 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, Ms 39562. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00AM. Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens.
