Mr. Douglas Preston Sasser, 64 of Moss Point passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland C and Nettie Sasser; wife, Sharon A Sasser; son, William "Josh" Sasser; daughter, Tammy Lynn Alvarez; very special dog, Buddy.
Douglas is survived by his 2 daughter's and sons-in-law, Kelly and John P. Eubanks, Moss Point, Ms and Jennifer and Jason Hinkel, Moss Point, Ms. Grandson's, Michael (Katie) Thompson, Bailen Jude Sasser, Levi McCartha, Bryce Eubanks (Darcy Novak), Peyton Hinkel, granddaughter, Hannah Eubanks(Dewayne Clary), Megan Hinkel, Shelby Alvarez; 1st Great Grandson, Kade Thompson; Bonus Grandchildren, Maddie and Felicity.
He worked for many years at Ingalls Shipbuilding as an electrician. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, playing guitar and woodworking. He was a member of IBEW, NRA and Avid Trump Supporter.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 from 6PM-8PM at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home Chapel, at 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, Ms 39562. Due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, social distancing guidelines will be in place and face masks are required while attending.
