Mrs. Edna Earle Smith, 88 of Wilmer, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home in Wilmer.
She was born on May 20,1935, in Rosebud, Mississippi to Otis Earl Garrison and Lillie Rogers Garrison.

Mrs. Smith was a kind-hearted and gentle person and would do anything for anyone.

Edna was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama, and was a homemaker, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Harold Smith; daughter, Dianne Smith Watts; father, Earl Garrison, mother, Lillie Garrison, a brother, Robert Garrison.

Survivors include, one son, Mike (Bonnie) Smith; one daughter, Judy (Terry) Long; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be held Friday, August 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main St., Moss Point, MS 39563 The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steve Newport officiating.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be at Serene Memorial Gardens 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS 39562.
