Mr. Edwin Ronald "Ed" Holmes Sr.71 of Pascagoula, MS, passed on August 27,2021

Ed was retired from the City of Pascagoula. He loved spending time with his family, loved hunting and fishing, motorcycle riding and the outdoors.

Ed is preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Jasper Holmes, his son, Ronald (Ronnie) Holmes and his daughter Samantha (Mandy)Holmes Crain. His Father Charles Holmes and His mother, Gertrude Holmes Butts.

His siblings were Richard Holmes, Dorothy Jones, Robert Holmes, Stephen Holmes, Catherine Parrish, all deceased and his only surviving sibling is Barry (Debbie) Holmes of Gautier.


He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Margaret Shackelford Jones Holmes, a daughter, Tabatha (Steve) Holmes, Shannon of Dayton, Texas, Two step sons, Kerry (Sena) Jones of Gautier and Chris (Melissa) Jones of Pascagoula. 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday September 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at Faith United Methodist Church at 4005 Chicot Street Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567. Pastor Jeff Trehern will be officiating .
Ed was a member of the (CMA'S) Christian Motorcyclist Association, God's Gulf Riders Chapter of Gautier, MS, which will lead the funeral procession from the church to the Graveside at Macphelah Cemetary in Pascagoula..
