Elizabeth G. Carpenter, 84, of Biloxi, Mississippi, passed from this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Biloxi. She was born on December 19, 1937, in Waverly, New York, to Wilbert and Ruth Goble.
Elizabeth, fondly known as Liz, was the consummate caretaker. She retired from nursing at Singing River Hospital and was always willing to help a person in need. She was a fighter, never willing to give up until a problem was solved. Her love for her family was unconditional and unwavering.
Liz loved Bible study, adventures, and motorcycles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Robert Goble and Lester Goble.
Survivors include her three sons, Duane Carpenter (Diana), Glenn Carpenter (Dianne), and Andy Carpenter (Sharon). Five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Her siblings are Stan Goble, Lois Douglass, Shirley Tyrrell, and Paul Goble.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, 4007 Main Street, Moss Point, Mississippi 39563
