Elizabeth Rosier Ivey, 81, of Escatawpa, MS, passed peacefully in her home on, Wednesday, December 20, 2023. She was born to the late, Frank and Opal Rosier on April 12, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida.
She had many interests in her life but her main focus was always her loving family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time she always enjoyed playing with animals, planting flowers in her garden, and drinking coffee with the ladies in her life. She spent 25 plus years serving the community of Moss Point, working for United States Postal Service.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mr. Ted Ivey Sr., son, Rudy Ivey, daughter, Matina Ivey, parents, Frank and Opal Rosier, granddaughter Marci Rozell, nephew Donnie Vance, and sister, Marylyn Smith
She is survived by her son, Gene (Melissa) Ivey, daughter, Marvina Rozell, sister, Karen Boutwell, brother, Buddy, Bennie, and Johnny Rosier, grandchildren, Trey (Chantel) Ivey, Alex (Stephanie) Ivey, and Mark Rozell, great grandchildren Isaac Holland, Elijah Holland, Landon Warren, Ryleigh Ivey, Jacob Ivey, and Logan Ivey, and her precious Yorkie that always stayed by her side.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December, 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home - Coastal Chapel with funeral service to begin at 2:00 pm. Committal Service will follow services at Serene Memorial Gardens. Funeral Home location 12800 Highway 613, Moss Point, MS 39562 (228) 475-7705
