Obituary

Mrs. Eloise Jean Stewart 79, of Wade, MS passed away on November 15,2020 at her home. Mrs. Stewart was born on May 1,1941 in Grand Bay, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and she was very active in all of their lives. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, fishing, playing cards, traveling and road tripping. She cherished her time riding with her husband in the field. She retired from Public Warehouse after 25 years of dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Stewart,her great grandson Isaiah Wallace her parents Medrick and Dorothy Thompson Sr., her siblings Marion Spicer, Medrick Thompson Jr., Jack Thompson, Dorothy Winterstein, Ervine Shires and Lawrence Kent Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters Dorothy "Dotti" Thorpe of Grand Bay, Karen (Mike) Majewski of New Jersey, her sons William "Billy" (Tammy) Stewart, Tony (LaToya) Stewart, her sister Doris (Clyde) Stokes of Moss Point, and her brother Robert (Dora) Thompson of Moss Point. She will leave behind to cherish her memory her grandchildren Charity (Matthew) Burrell, Latena (Thomas) Wallace, Beth (James) Roberts, Rebecca (Frank) Richards, Trey (Sunni) Stewart, Justin (Savannaha) Thorpe, Nicholas Stewart and her great grandchildren Alexz Stewart, Victoria Stewart, Logan Stewart, Alexis Burrell, William Burrell, Ashley Burrell, Luke Roberts, Ava Roberts, Alison Richards, Kaeden Boyd, Cambria Peters, Payton Hust, Kyler Thorpe, Addalynn Thorpe, and 1 great great grandchild Melody Stewart. Nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation for Mrs. Stewart will be Friday November 20, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Holder- Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, Mississippi 39563. The funeral service will begin at 2:30 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Cauley officiating. Burial will follow in Grand Bay cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Trey Stewart, Thomas Wallace ,Matthew Burrell, Justin Thorpe, Nicholas Stewart and Alexz Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Stewart, William Burrell and Steve Richards.
