It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elouise Wise Bell, age 92, of Forts Lake/Moss Point, Mississippi, who left this world on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Sparrow Hills Personal Care in Lucedale.
Elouise was born on August 8, 1932, in Florida, to Daniel and Lonnie Lee Wise. She found true joy in her life with her beloved husband, Aubrey Bell. Elouise was a spirited soul who embraced life through her passions for traveling, sewing, gardening, and boating. She selflessly dedicated her time to volunteering at her church and the local hospital, touching many lives in her community.
Elouise is now reunited with her parents, Daniel and Lonnie Wise, her cherished husband, Aubrey, and her beloved sisters, Opal Norwood, Shirley Craig, and Quinnia Culpepper. She is also with her in-laws, Guy Hartwell and Corda Bell, and her brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Barbara Bell. Their memories will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
She is lovingly remembered by her two children, David (Robin) Bell and LeeAnn (Michael) Fix, along with her grandchildren, Kelli Bell (Jason) Wilson, Katie Bell (Charles) Jones, Kerri Bell (Jason) Brown, and Mike Fix. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, including Henry Demar, Grant Sawyer, Eli Butler, Finn Monroe Wilson, Katarina Fix, Connor Fix, Caly Fix, Onyx Berry, Maggie Pearman, Mack Jones, and Josephine Brown, Oliver Brown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.
A visitation to honor Elouise's life will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Franklin Creek Baptist Church, located at 11505 Independence Rd, Moss Point, MS 39562. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, with Jonathan Greer and Chris Bell officiating. We will then gather to lay her to rest at W.R. Clark Memorial Cemetery in Moss Point.
Elouise will be carried to her final resting place by pallbearers Henry Wilson, Grant Wilson, Eli Wilson, Connor Fix, Jason Wilson, Finn Wilson and Charles Jones. Honorary pallbearers will include Jason Brown, Mike Fix, Roger Clark, and Jerry Smith.
As we remember Elouise, let us celebrate her vibrant spirit and the love she shared with all of us. Her memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
