Elsie Inez Fulton, 81 of Lucedale, Mississippi, passed from this life on Monday, November 29, 2021, at her home in Lucedale. She was born on April 22, 1940, in Jackson County, Mississippi, to Leroy and Rosalie Cauley Richard.
Elsie was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and sister. She loved music and taught herself to play the guitar, piano, and bass fiddle. She also enjoyed riding horses and painting beautiful landscapes on canvas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Fulton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Paula D. (Jerry) Simpson, 3 step-daughters, Susan (Jimmy) Moeller, LeAnn Fulton, and Renee (Mike) Cumbie. grandchildren, Anthony Simpson, John Simpson, Brian Fulton, Amanda (Jody) Sonnier, Jessica (Eric) Creel, Samantha (Alex) Gallien, Lori (Mitch) Bailey, Lindsey Lofton Moorman, Lacey Lofton, Beth Reeves, and Kellie (Dallas) Brooks. Great-grandchildren, Dhairus Simpson, Michael Simpson, and Yori Simpson, her sister, and brother, Theda (Rick) Adcock, and Carvel (Sharon) Richard. Her former husband, James Jones, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
The graveside service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at The Cook's Family Cemetery, in Lucedale, Mississippi with Pastor Melvin Hatampa officiating.
