Mr. Felton Allen George Sr. 84 of Vancleave, MS passed away in Ocean Springs on June 3,2019. Mr. George was born on February 26,1935 in Kemper County, MS. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He was loved by everybody. He served his country with pride and dedication with the United States Air Force. He is retired from the International Paper Company in Moss Point. He enjoyed his garden, traveling and fishing. He was a member of the Reorganized LatterDay Saints Church in Vancleave.
He is preceded in death by his parents Felton and Lillian George, his brothers and sisters Dan George, Claudie Ray George, Benny George, Tillman George, Tiny Marshall, Rachel Stuart and a daughter-in-law Sheila Stockman George.
He is survived by his wife Zennie George of Vancleave, his children Felton A. (Susan) George Jr., of Ramsey Springs, Leslie (Lorraine) George of Escatawpa, Kristi (Rodney) McCrory of Pascagoula, Cheryl Carter of New Orleans, Marty (Delisa) Moe of Hattiesburg, Bobby (Keely) Moe of Vancleave, Susan (Michael) Maniscalco of Ocean Springs, and Douglas (Demi) Moe of St. Claraville,OH. He will also be sadly missed by his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation for Mr. George will be Friday June 7,2019 from 11 am to 12 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS. The funeral will begin at 12pm from the funeral home chapel. Elders James Goff, Benny Goff, and Alvin Carlander officiating.
Burial will follow at 1:30 pm in the RLDS. Cemetery in Vancleave.
