It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Frances Louise Danley, age 79, of Moss Point, Mississippi, who left us on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in the comfort of her home.
Frances was born on August 31, 1945, in Alabama, to the loving parents Paul and Helen Pope. She married her treasured soulmate, Lloyd Houston Danley Sr., and together they built a beautiful family. Frances poured her heart into being a homemaker, nurturing her loved ones and finding fulfillment in her passions. She had a special touch for gardening, delighting in the beauty of flowers and the bounty of vegetables. Watching hummingbirds brought her immense joy, and her love for animals shone through, particularly in her cherished miniature horses. In recent years, she found comfort in the timeless episodes of "Gunsmoke" and enjoyed playing Mahjong with friends and family.
Frances is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd H. "Tiny" Danley Sr.; her devoted mother and father, Helen and Paul Pope; her sister, Helen Valasek; her brothers, Charles and Ted Pope; and her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Robison. Their absence leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her.
She is survived by her caring brothers, Paul (Delores) Pope and John Pope; her two adoring daughters, Paula (Scott) Parker and Margaret (Vern) Daniels; her two devoted sons, Lloyd (Vickie) Danley Jr. and David Danley; her granddaughter, Victoria (Keith) Smith; and four grandsons, Paul (Victoria) Parker, Joshua (Charlotte) Robison, Lance (Hailey) Danley, and Andrew Danley, along with 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who will carry her memory forward.
Frances's legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
