Mrs. Frances Williams, 85, of Moss Point, MS, passed peacefully in her home on December 19, 2023. She was born in Pascagoula, MS on February 18, 1938, to the late Samuel Delmas and Sylvia Rose Bosarge.
Frances spent 41 years in the banking industry which culminated in the position of Vice President at First Federal of Moss Point, MS. Her training was obtained through Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA; University of Texas, Austin, TX; and institutions in Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; and Lake Tahoe, NV.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Williams, Sr. They had one son, Joseph L . 'Joey' (Donna) Williams, Jr. Her younger brother, Gary (Donna) Bosarge was raised as a son from a young age after their parents had passed.
Frances is survived by brothers Norman (late Linda) Bosarge and Clyde (Barbara) Bosarge. Her late sister was Ida Rose (Louis) Yokum. Her late sister-in-law was Marlene Williams (James) Hutcherson.
Grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren include the late Joseph L. Williams, lll; Brandon (Paula) Williams, Hayley (Jeremy) Walker, Jonathan Williams, Justin Williams, Brandi (Steven) Morris, Lundy (Reagan) Williams, Leslie Williams, Libby Williams, Andrew Walker, Mason Walker, Baleigh Williams, Brodie Williams, Harper Morris, Sawyer Morris, and Gentri Williams. Nieces and nephews include Judy Bosarge, Gay (Dave) Clark, Paul (Frances) Bosarge, Susie (Chris) Rouse, the late Clyde Bosarge, Jr., Jennifer (Doug) Harmon, Stephen (Sandra) Bosarge, Russell Bosarge, Tanya (Ross) Cumbest, the late Lisa Tanner, Stephen (Lynn) Hutcherson, Jessica (Mark) Horne, Samuel Bosarge and Jason Bosarge. Also included are numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Frances will be held at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS, on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00AM, family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point, MS.
