It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary Lamar Branham, age 66, of Lucedale, Mississippi, who left us on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home.

Gary was born on February 3, 1959, in Tennessee, to Zane Branham and Patsy Ruth Lawson . He cherished his marriage to Julie Ann Brown, whom he loved deeply since their wedding on June 2, 1978.

Gary will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him, though he is preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Cathy Gallegos and Fawn Branham. He is survived by his devoted wife, Julie Ann Branham, his children Gary (Brook) Branham Jr., Matthew (Laura) Branham, and Heather (Harvey) Branham Nolen, as well as his adoring parents, Zane and Patsy Branham. He was a proud grandfather to his grandchildren: Laila, Kaira, Chloe, Harlee, and Harvey. Gary also leaves behind his siblings, Carol (Hugo) Salinas, Chrissy (Erling) Bakken, and Mark Branham, along with numerous family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Gary found joy in the great outdoors, often hunting and fishing, and he treasured every moment he spent surrounded by nature.

A visitation will be held to honor Gary's life on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holder Wells Funeral Home Coastal Chapel at 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, Ms 39563. We invite all who loved him to come and share in the memories of a wonderful man who touched so many lives.
