Mr. Guy Denson Goff, age 83 , of Big Point passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Guy was born May 14, 1926 to the late John Worth and Jennnie Ellen Martin Goff. Mr. Goff was drafted into the United States Army as a young man and fought in World War II. During his military career he was a member of the 90th Division Artillery, 670th Field Artillery Battalion. After leaving the army he returned home to a job at International Paper. Guy retired from International Paper after 41 years of service. Mr. Goff is a Master Mason with Moss Point Lodge, and a member of Big Point United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Tiny Esther Graves Goff; son John Raymond (Cyndee) Goff; daughter Anita Ellen Goff; son Allan Warren Goff; grandchildren Stacey Leigh (Brock) Killingsworth, Derrick Worth Goff and Joseph Burton Goff; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, December 4th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5th from Big Point United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Bradley and Rev. John Maki officiating. Interment will follow in Big Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leslie Penn, Lewis Tisdale, Rev. Walter Johnson, Wesley Carter, Manuel Carter and Mike Prestridge. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ellis Lindsey, Brock Killingsworth and Derrick Goff. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, MS.
