Obituary

Halcomb Pittman, "Pee Wee", was born to the late Arzo Clyde Pittman, Sr., and Ida Virginia Boyles in Foxworth, MS, on August 24, 1927. He worked at several chemical plants on the Mississippi Gulf Coast until his retirement in 1989 from First Chemical Corporation. He lived most of his 94 years in Pascagoula, Ms.
Halcomb married the love of his life, Golda Paralee Varnado, on August 27, 1946, in Gulfport, MS. Halcomb and Golda raised one daughter in a loving and nurturing environment. He was a true role model that exhibited kindness and love to all. Halcomb was a prankster at heart. He was always quick with a joke or a prank, often sending people away with a huge smile. He loved to travel. "Golda and I may not have gone first class, but we went," he would tell his grandchildren. Shopping for bargains and playing dominoes were his favorite pastime. He was an expert at both!
