Mr. Harry E. Hammonds Jr. 57 of Moss Point, MS passed away on March 17,2019 in Gautier, MS. Harry was born on August 10,1961 in Pascagoula, MS. Harry was a very kind and gentle person he was always willing to help people when they needed it. During his youth, Harry could be seen walking around Moss Point with his cowboy hat on his head and enjoying life as he saw it. He was a dedicated Alabama Crimson Tide football fan, he enjoyed playing basketball and watching professional wrestling. Some of his favorite wrestlers was Cowboy Bob Kelly, Ken Lucas, The Medic, and Jos LeDuc from the past NWA/ Southeastern Wrestling shows on tv. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moss Point.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry E. and Betty A Hammonds Sr.
He is survived by his 5 sisters and 1 brother Betty (David) French, Lucy Hammonds, Theresa (Neilo) Bosarge, Kathy (Kenny) Marcia (Robbie) Bosarge, and Larry E. Hammonds. He also leaves behind his very special and extended Family of Singing River Industries and Eddie DiSanti Assisted Living. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday March 21, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Holder-Wells Funeral Home at 4007 Main Street Moss Point, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday March 22,2019 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Moss Point with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Burial will follow in Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula.
