Mrs. Hazel Inez Cothran's Obituary
Hazel Inez Cothran, 86, passed away in her home on July 16, 2024. Born to Andrew & Guessie Cumbest on October 18, 1937, at Jackson County Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. She was affectionately known as "Inee."
Her memory will be cherished by her son Billy Joe Cothran, daughter Darlene Taylor, sister Elaine Morris, and 2 grandchildren: Nic Taylor and Christy Taylor.
Inez had multiple jobs in her lifetime: Ingalls Shipbuilding, Moss Point Marine, Gulf City Fisheries, and Jr. Food Store. She enjoyed being home and being a homemaker. The job she was most proud of was mother and grandmother.
Preceded by her parents, her sister Ruth Savage, and brother Billy Ray Cumbest.
Inez was a Christian and a member of Caswell Springs Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Caswell Springs Church 18601 Hwy 63 Moss Point, MS 39562 from 11:00 am until the 12 noon Funeral Hour. Interment will follow in the Caswell Springs Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
