Mrs. Hazel Celeste Hand Gray, 95 of Moss Point, MS passed from this life December 20, 2010 in Escatawpa. She was born February 3, 1915 in Lauderdale, MS. She was the oldest member of East Moss Point Baptist Church which she dearly loved and attended until health prevented her. She was a retired PBX Operator from East MS State Hospital. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her parents, Walter P. and Irene E. Hand; and was the eldest of seven children. She is survived by her daughter, Meg Killen of Moss Point; three grandchildren, Ann Fryou, Jane and Dennis Bayles, Gene and Rissa Killen; six great grandchildren, Carrie and Daniel Sullivan, Chris Fryou, Brad Killen, Matthew Killen, Sarah Bayles and Carolyn Bayles; three great great grandchildren, Marianna Sullivan, Annslee Celeste Sullivan and Noah Fryou. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at East Moss Point Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. from the church with Rev. Ray McCorkle and Rev. David Abbott officiating. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Shuqualak Cemetery in Shuqualak, MS. The family extends a special thank you to Camellia Hospice and caregivers Jim and Diane Richardson for the loving care of Mrs. Gray.
