Homer (Leo) Pardue, age 89, of Moss Point, MS passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2020, at Singing River Hospital. He was born on January 5th, 1931. He served in the Army-Air Force from March 2, 1947 to January 20th, 1950 and discharged honorably. He also served a short while in the Army in 1951 before being medically discharged. He married Bertha Pardue in1963 and they were faithfully married for 57 years. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as a warehouse clerk. He loved gardening, hunting, and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha Pardue, father Jurd L. Pardue, mother Alma Absent Pardue, brothers J.C. Pardue, Quentin Pardue, Lloyd Pardue, Dempsey Pardue, sisters Pauline Pardue, Katheline Pardue Wilson, Ernestine Pardue Westbrook, and Carrie Pardue Springfield.
He is survived by his children, Calvin (Lisa) Pardue; Karla (Roderick) Cox, and Collin (Marian) Pardue; grandchildren Rodney Tyler Cox (Kelsey), Jeremy Cox, Jacob Cox, James Phillips Jr. (Sarah), Joshua Phillips (Bethaney), lots of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is also survived by his brother, Kenyon Pardue; sisters Iris Smith, Joye Baker, and Cora Crain.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd, 2020 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. with a graveside service at Machpelah Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m.
