Hubert Carol Freeman, age 78, of Pascagoula, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1943 in Hattiesburg to Hubert and Frannie Yvonne Clark Freeman. On November 30, 1962 he married Stella Victoria "Vicki" Bartee in Hattiesburg. Hubert was a member of the National Guard, and retired from International Paper after 33 years. He served as a security guard for the I.P. Casino for 14 years. He was also a longtime piano technician in the area and worked for Broussard's Music. Hubert was a longtime faithful member of Escatawpa Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vicki Freeman of Pascagoula, 2 children; daughter, Mary Martha Bergeron and husband Bryan of St. Amant, Louisiana, and son, David Russell Freeman of Pascagoula, 1 granddaughter, Jorden Victoria Lolley and husband Philip of St. Amant, Louisiana, and great granddaughter, Carsyn Victoria Lolley, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, John Gary Freeman. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at 2 PM at Morriston Cemetery in Petal, MS.
