Obituary

Mrs. Ida Virginia Barron at 90 was the last of her generation, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023.
She was preceded by her sisters, Kathern Sullivan and Danace Boyles; adopted sister, Dorothy; both brothers, Osie and Olan Smith; and 2 children, Susan Barron and Stanley Barron.
Ida is survived by her husband, Howard Barron; 2 sons, Michael Barron, and Ronald Barron, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Her # 1 hobbies were bowling and camping followed closely by traveling, reading, flowers and plants.
She traveled extensively by ships, plane and RV'S and wasn't afraid to park a camper trailer. She was a life member of the American Women's Bowling Association and A past Queen of The Jackson County Bowler's Ball.

A visitation will be held from 11:00AM-1:00PM on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Holder-Wells Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Highway 613 Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will follow at 1:00PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will conclude at Serene Memorial Gardens.
