Our beloved Mother, Irene E. Kosztur,96, of Pascagoula, passed away on Wednesday, December 14,2022.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Louis J. Kosztur and her grandson Benjamin Kosztur.
She is survived by her children, Gary Kosztur (wife Karen), Gail Davis (husband Todd) and Gloria Fako (husband Amir). Grandchildren, Renee Snow, Michael Kosztur (wife Dana), Chissy Foushee (husband Michael), Daniel Kosztur, her Great Grandchildren, Michael Alan Kosztur, Katelyn Cooper (husband Jack), Kaleigh Smith, Alex Foushee, Chloe Foushee, Karleigh Smith, her Great Great Grandchild Cullen Cooper.
Originally from London England, she met and married Lou during World War II and shortly after moved to Perth Amboy, New Jersey where their three children were born. Lou, and family, were transferred with Chevron in 1963 to Pascagoula, MS. Irene loved to make friends through the bowling league she was on, playing bridge in a few groups and loved to cook and bake.
A private memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20th at 11:00 am at Biloxi National Cemetery. After the service, we will all gather at her house in Pascagoula to share our memories and celebrate her life.
